In the post IFMS scenario, following the successful implementation of online data transfer, the State Government in consultation with the Accountant General’s office, has initiated a system for the online transmission of Monthly Reconciliation Statements of accounts. This system has been operating on a parallel run with the existing process since the financial year 2021-2022.
Under this system, Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) forward their Head of Account-wise reconciled reports to their respective Subordinate Controlling Officers (SCO/COs), who in turn forward the reports to the Chief Controlling Officers (CCOs). The CCOs then submit the consolidated reconciled reports and certificates through a digitally signed system generated ‘Reconciliation Certificate’ to the AG’s office (the intermediate hierarchy viz., SCO/COs has been incorporated as an additional feature from the financial year 2025-2026).
